With a long, continuous history of working for the traders of our village The Chamber of Commerce established a new committee in 2013 and has gone from strength to strength.

Membership is on the increase and the number of local business people (not just from the village centre) becoming volunteer members of the Chamber committee has also risen.

We provide ‘Community, Support and Promotion’ (CSP) to our members, which includes devoting time to joint marketing and promotional initiatives – including our business directory website at www.keepitlocalcsp.co.uk; hosting workshops, seminars and networking and social events; maintaining strong links and good relationships with the Parish, District and County Councils, the Police and local Media; assisting with the work experience scheme and employability at Chalfont Community College; and being the unified voice and a point of contact for the trade community.

We have some innovative ideas for 2016 and we need the support of local businesses to put them into action. To kick off this new era, we’d like to invite you to our first “Keep it Chalfont” event of the year on the evening of Wednesday 23rd March – more details here.

You will hear various short presentations from local businesses and there will be an opportunity for you to promote your own business in the company of traders and other influential people from the village.

There will be an opportunity to become a Chamber member at the seminar, but if you would like information on how to go about it before that, please get in touch.
